CapRAC SMAT Training Scheduled

CapRAC is hosting several SMAT training opportunities at the regional disaster training & response facility in Garner, NC.  

• June 19, 2013:  SMAT Continuing Education--HAZMAT and Decon Review
• August 19, 2013:  SMAT Continuing Education--Environmental Emergencies, M8 Operational Review, Ventilator, IV Pump and Zoll Monitor Review
• August 24-25:  SMAT Initial Training--includes a 1 day Refresher for those that have previously taken the course

2013 WakeMed Pediatric Conference

The annual WakeMed pediatric conference, Stepping into the Future, was held in the William F. Andrews conference center at WakeMed Raleigh on April 18 & 19. This two-day conference is designed for health care providers who care for pediatric patients, regardless of setting.
